Most of the above ground pools do not need heaters because the solar cover helps to harness the heat of the sun to warm the water. However, if you want you can have a deck around the pool and they are not as expensive as you might think.
The deck you choose to have around your above ground pool depends on your taste in materials. You might like the look of tiles or you can go with wood, such as cedar, which gives off a very pleasant scent when it gets wet.
